My recent trip to Boston, MA for an Engagement Session brought me to a familiar area. I photographed a wedding a few years ago at The Liberty Hotel for Julie Ann & Justin. They had their engagement session there as well so every time I’m in Boston I love seeing this beautiful landmark. When I take pictures of couples I like incorporating the beautiful architecture that is around them so I feel as though I have a connection with every area I photograph in. Seeing a spot that you’ve shot in before is like reconnecting with an old friend from your past once again. The Liberty Hotel used to be a prison back in the day and they’ve recycled a lot of the metal that was used to incorporate into their chandeliers. As I was taking this photograph outside, a man passed by and said that it was the original prison door and that he remembered escorting prisoners through it.
The front of The Liberty Hotel is absolutely stunning.
Especially at night when their sign is all lit up
Coming into The Liberty Hotel you will notice this beautiful tile design between the two escalators. It seems to be telling a story of a prisoner.
Here are some shots from Julie Ann and Justin’s Engagement Session and Wedding inside this gorgeous Boston Hotel.
Showing you how I incorporate our couples love for each other and the beautiful architecture.
