Today I had the opportunity to see the movie Fireproof. This film is very powerful and I would recommend it to anyone who is struggling with their marriage. Fireproof is a breath of fresh air, and is sure to change your life. Remember to grab a box of kleenex for this one. Kirk Cameron gives an incredible performance. Erin Bethea should do more movies because she is nothing less than amazing.

Wow, what can I say. This movie is amazing. If you have not seen it already, go and see it. It is by far one of the best pictures I have ever experienced. The imagery is behind words, beautiful to say the least. It is simply amazing, stunning and powerfully breathtaking. Every few years a movie comes along that makes you say yes, this is how you are supposed to make a film.
It has “won five of the six awards it was nominated for at the Critics’ Choice Awards and all four of the awards it was nominated for at the Golden Globes, including Best Drama Film. It has also been nominated for eleven BAFTA Awards and ten Academy Awards.”

There hasn’t been that many movies out lately that are worth seeing. Here are just a few of the ones that I saw recently that are worth checking out.

Paul Blart Mall Cop made me laugh out loud from beginning to end. I am a big fan of Kevin James. I have been following his career since his stand up days. I was disappointed when King of Queens ended, but it is nice to see him doing movies now. I didn’t care to much for Chuck and Larry but I liked him in Hitch.

Yes Man was a lot of fun. It was nice to see Jim Carrey in a fresh new comedy instead of just hearing his voice in a cartoon. I don’t know if this movie is still in theaters, but if you are a fan of Jim Carrey it is worth a rental.

The Wrestler is a documentary style movie of a wrestlers life. Some parts were tough to watch but it was a powerful movie. Mickey Rourke gives an unbelievable performance as Randy ‘The Ram’ Robinson in which he won a Golden Globe for Best Actor.
