Tiger Woods is back and he’s better than ever.

“Woods, who is working his way back from knee surgery, overcame a five-stroke deficit against playing partner Sean O’Hair and drained a 16-foot put on the 18th hole to wrap up a victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational championship at Bay Hill in Orlando. It was the first post-surgery victory for Woods, who matched his career-best comeback and will enter the Masters with confidence and momentum and his old swagger.”


It’s nice to have Tiger Woods back on the PGA Tour. Tiger brings excitement to the game of golf the same way Jordan did to basketball. Why do we love Woods so much and want him to win all the time? The way he plays the game is a thing of beauty that you know you are witnessing history in the making. Welcome back Tiger.

The sun was out, the birds were singing, and the driving range was open, my kind of day. I hit a large bucket so I am very sore today. When you’ve been away from something for a while, you sometimes forget how to do it. When I picked out the first club I was going to hit, (the seven iron, I usually hit that club pretty great) something didn’t register correctly in my brain and I completely forgot how to swing. It took a few more shanked balls and broken tees before I got my swing back. I can’t wait to hit the links this year. My goal is to shoot in the 70’s. Here I am practicing my drives. Remember to continue practicing to become really great at something. The saying goes, practice makes perfect. Nobodies perfect, but if you keep working at it, you can come pretty darn close.

This was my first NBA game experience and definitely not the last. I could not have asked for a better game, it came down to the last shot. The game was all tied at 100 with 20 seconds to play. The Celtics would hold for the game winner. Paul Pierce caught fire early in the game hitting three in a row, so who better to give the ball to. I had been anticipating this game ever since I ordered the tickets and had a feeling it would come down to the last shot, but I had to settle for overtime as Paul’s shot rattled in and out. In overtime, Eddie House and Pierce hit 3-pointers and Rondo sank a layup for a 108-100 lead as Miami went cold from the field. Here are some fun shots I got with my sweet little G9. I will post a few more later when I wake up a bit. Enjoy the day.

Here is the birdie putt he made yesterday on the 18th hole in the final round of the US Open. This putt got him into a 18 hole playoff with Rocco Mediate that is scheduled for today.

Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers out there, I have been watching the US Open this weekend, but more importantly I have been watching Tiger Woods play incredible golf. He has just had knee surgery on his left leg which has been bothering him these past four days of the Open but he still continues to make incredible shots and play unbelievable golf. It’s so amazing to watch how determined Tiger Woods is to win with his bad knee. He reminds me of Michael Jordan Just before game 5 of the 1997 NBA finals when he came down with the flu. He was too sick to play but played anyway and scored 36 points and crushed the Jazz. After the game he was so exhausted Scotty Pippen had to help him off the court.



Tiger made an incredible birdie putt on the 18th hole to force a playoff against Rocco Mediate.
